First post!

Just kidding … this isn’t a comment thread! But this is the first post of the up-and-running paullascara.com. I’m Paul Lascara. My first post is to brag about having the photo of the day at carolinaweeklynewspapers.com. This past summer I freelanced at their northern office and got a lot of great experience, and I’m still doing it now, but a bit less often because of classes. The photo of the day comes from my most recent article, about this man Benny Reeder who makes and sells quirky yard art. He got the attention of the paper because he has two ten-foot tall metal dinosaurs in his front yard on Gilead Road in Huntersville. Yeah. And they breathe fire. The photo is on the homepage of the Carolina Weekly Newspapers homepage right now.
